The Claim: "Exfoliating pumpkin enzyme easily and gently dissolve away dead surface cells (dry, flaky skin) and impurities revealing newer, more radiant skin. Age-fighting anti-oxidant and vitamin A protect and nourish skin. Leaves skin refreshed and silky smooth.  Smells so good you'll want to eat it, but please don't!"

Why I Bought it: I wanted a gentle but effective chemical peel to deal with hyperpigmentation/discoloration on my skin.  I was nervous about trying products with Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA) because I wasn't sure how my skin would respond to it.  After some research, I found that certain fruits enzymes, like pumpkin and papaya, are effective peels.  So, I gave the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Peel a try.

My Review: After my first use, it tingled a little bit but didn't burn at all.  I left it on for 5 minutes, which is longer than they recommend (2 minutes) and when I rinsed it off my face felt so smooth.  I was amazed at the results after just one use and kept touching my skin, lol.  I continued to use it every night for two week straight and my hyperpigmentation was less noticeable.  Now, I use it once in a while to refresh my skin and I absolutely love it.  I still have some discoloration (mostly from more recent acne scarring), but this product does do what it claims: I got radiant skin with a silky smooth finish.  And for that I love it.

Would I Buy it Again? Yes. But when I finish this product I plan on trying something a little stronger to deal with my hyperpigmentation.  My next purchase will be either Peter Thomas Roth's Max (or Gentle) Complexion Correction Pads or their Radiance Oxygenating Serum.  If you've used them before, I'd love to hear what you think of them.
