You all know that I typically wear my hair in a bun or ponytail because I'm protectively styling my way to waist length. But since we were all gathered for a special occasion (my sister-in-law's wedding), I flat ironed and curled my hair for the Big Day. Well apparently there was some discussion on the sidelines about whether I was telling the truth about my hair being my own. Because the day after the wedding while we were all hanging out together, I got a full on scalp message. At the moment it happened, I was confused and unsure of how to react but when it was immediately followed by, "I told you it was hers." I knew what was happening, lol -- they were checking for tracks.
I know that some say they are utterly offended by these types of propositions, but I am not one of those people. I loved it! When my husband realized what was happening, he immediately rolled his eyes because he knew that I'd be cheesing about it for days to come. I'm very meticulous when it comes to caring for my hair and the fact that someone thinks that it looks so good that it couldn't be real makes me feel great. :) :) :) Check out the pics from our weekend trip and my hair!

The weave check was the cherry on top of an amazingly beautiful and fun wedding weekend.
