JustGrowAlready and RelaxedThairapy are hosting a 30 Day Ceramide Challenge. It started on July 1 (so I'm a little late to the party), but I've decided to join in. Ceramides have always played a big part in my hair journey. My biggest hair epiphany happened when I first discovered Ceramides -- and truly my hair hasn't been the same ever since.
Check out
the original challenge post for more information on how ceramides work and what they can do for your hair. If you're interested in joining this challenge, there is one main rule: Incorporate ceramides into your hair regimen over the next 30 days (the rest of July). You can use a ceramide containing oil to seal your hair, pre-poo or do a hot oil treatment. Or you can use a conditioner or leave-in treatment that has ceramides. That original challenge post will give you some tips on identifying those types of products as well.
Out of the hair products that I have left in my hair stash, these are the ones that contain ceramides:
- African Royale Hot Six Oil
- Aubrey Organics GPB Conditoner
- Grapeseed Oil
- Nexxus Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner
For this challenge, I'll either do a pre-poo treatment, hot oil treatment and/or deep conditioning treatment with a ceramide containing product with each wash day. And at the end of the month, I'll report back on how this challenge went for me.
If you want to officially join the challenge, there's still time:
