I thought I'd be done whittling down my hair product stash by now, but it's taking a bit longer than I thought it would. I am getting closer to the end of this process. After this report there should be just one more report left before I can share what products I'll be keeping as my staple hair products. Until then check out my thoughts on the products above that I've finished over that past few weeks.
The Aubrey Organics GPB Balancing Protein Conditioner will absolutely be my new protein treatment. My hair feels so soft and supple after using this product. And it doesn't matter whether I'm doing a roller set or air drying my hair, it always gives me great results. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil I've actually already repurchased but that's because of the Castor Oil Challenge that I'm in. I'll have a better review after I've completed that challenge. The Avocado Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil are great oils for the hair and skin. I used the avocado oil on my skin and it was ok (but I prefer the Shea Moisture Skin Oil that I reviewed in my last empties report). The Olive Oil I've been using on my daughter's hair lately and it's been great. I will definitely be repurchasing the Olive Oil for her hair. Finally the Generic Value Products Concentrated Leave-in Treatment is a great protein leave-in treatment that works really well with on your hair when you are heat styling. A little goes a long way with this one. And the only reason I won't be repurchasing it is because I prefer a moisturizing leave-in treatment on most wash days.
